日本原燃では、安全性を向上させるための活動として、是正処置プログラム（ Corrective Action Program System以下 CAPシステムという）の導入を進めている。 CAPシステムは、 2020年度から施行される新検査制度に基づく活動の柱の一つであり、日本原燃では 2018年度より試運用を始めている。
